research-based knowledge to the practical problems of college access
practitioners

access programs

policy makers of the accomplishments and challenges of college
access programs in Indiana
create
a distribution system for national college access efforts by
providing mechanisms for adapting national best practices, diffusing
research findings, and reporting successes
serve
as a conduit for members to receive grant opportunities, expert
consultation, and technical assistance from national college access
networks
In sum, the network exists to support, enhance,
and advance college access programming in Indiana.

basis. Each meeting highlights Indiana initiatives in college
access programming, provides research perspectives on college access

from around the country.
Annual Conference The network hosts an annual
conference that showcases Indiana college access programs, highlights
relevant research, and enriches college access programs with ideas,
resources, and expertise.
Communications The network provides a quarterly
electronic newsletter to Indiana practitioners and researchers. In
addition, the network provides a website and an e-mail listserv
on behalf of Indiana college access programs, their personnel, and
college access researchers.
College Access Report IPCN produces an annual “state of college access” report
for policy-makers, advocates, and colleagues of the network.
